New sunspot groups appeared on every day over the past week. On January 12, new sunspot group 1396 appeared, and the next day two more -- 1397 and 1398 -- popped into view. TAPR and iQuadlabs Announce Agreement for Software Defined Radio Components

 

Tucson Amateur Packet Radio (TAPR) and iQuadlabs have announced a sourcing agreement for openHPSDR (High Performance Software Defined Radio) development boards. These include Pennylane, a ½ W transmitter, Mercury, an HF direct-sampling receiver and Magister, an FPGA-based interface controller card. Thanks to the generosity of dedicated members and friends, the ARRL successfully met its 2011 fundraising goals.
